ELETTROSHOCK : The video in Italy from the 70's till today (1973-2006)
Supported by the Cultural Office of the Italian Embassy as part of the Year of Italy in China, by Cathay Pacific, Otim SpA, and promoted by offiCina in cooperation with the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing and the Guangdong Museum of Art in Guangzhou, ‘Elettroshock’ is a historical overview of Italian electronic art in the form of video: art, music, theatre, dance, documentary, and poetry. The program presents 90 video works by more than 80 authors, from the 1970's until today. The retrospective covers about 15 hours screening selected by curators Bruno Di Marino and Lara Nicoli in cooperation with Monica Piccioni and Rosario Scarpato.
